As School Board president, its been an exciting Fall for the 2007-2008 school year. We opened doors to nearly 11,000 students with 1300 staff to work the magic of education. We aim high for each student's success.

While every election is important, this election sees two members stepping down with 16 years of collective experience. This summer we welcomed a new Superintendent. I bring experience, leadership, and a commitment to quality education to my second term.

  • Experience dealing with budget matters through tough times,
  • Leadership in improving our District, working with the community, and interacting with state education leaders, and
  • A commitment to quality education, so that the future of our children is always the number one concern.

Our campaign for the next four years starts now. Join us!
